Crocheted Ring with Hyperbolic Jewel

This ring is crocheted using shiny and sparkly gold yarns together, using a US J (6 mm) or K(6.5 mm) hook

Chain 11, join w/slip stitch to make a ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 3 (counts as 1 dc throughout), dc in next 2 ch, tr in next 6 ch, dc on next 2 ch, join W/sl st in 3rd ch of beginning 3 ch.

Rnd 2: Ch 3 (counts as 1 dc throughout), dc in next 2 dc, tr in next 6 tr, dc on next 2 dc , join W/sl st in 3rd ch of beginning 3 ch.

Repeat rnd 2 until your ring is the desired circumference. The picture ring is 19″.

The jewel is a hyperbolic poof using two sparkly silver yarns together, J or K hook.

ch 4, sl st to make a ring.
rnd 1: ch 3, 11 dc in ring, join w/ sl st in 3rd ch.
rnd 2 ch 3, dc in 1st st; 2 dc in every dc around, join w/ sl st in 3rd ch.
repeat rnd 2 until desired size.
