When I first moved to Los Angeles to pursue my dream of being a professional artist, one of the first places I went to see art was Bergamot Station. I thought it was so cool to have a cluster of art galleries and the Santa Monica Museum of Art, all located in one historic location. Part of Bergamot Station right now is being torn down to make way for the Metro Expo Line. I suppose it was always inevitable and I have been waiting for public transportation to make its way to the West Side for a while now, but I just want to say in my own little way that the Bergamot Station I knew will be missed.
